FOLDING MASSAGE TABLE

HABYS is a unique, safe and durable table constructions made of selected beech wood. Impregnated and covered with protective materials construction elements with strengthened moisture and scratches resistance. As distinguished from tested “cheap” tables, HABYS tables are produced from 1st class wood; do not have flaws, blooms, knots or other defects that could result in chipping, cracking in construction and in extreme cases in elimination from usage. Our competitors use worse class of wood to produce tables. Visible structural defects (knots, false heartwood, cracking) considerably weaken the product’s resistance and have negative influence on its aesthetics. Torn out material, split wood, sticking out sharp feather edges are visible in “cheap” tables. .

HABYS construction is based on commonly used in furniture industry micro-dovetail joint of elements, additionally strengthened with glue, which guarantees long-lasting and solid joint. Construction of cheap tables is low- resistant. It is usually made by means of springs which do not guarantee durable and solid joint. Impaired construction may easily get unstuck. Over time such tables become very unstable.

Another argument that weighs in favour of HABYS tables construction is special transverse slat. Such transverse slats join legs of the table and their main task is to stiffen the whole construction and increase resistance on dynamic loads that appear during a treatment. All elements of HABYS construction are made of high quality selected beech wood and are precisely finished. Elements are specially moulded in order to avoid the risk of sharp edges. Legs regulation holes are also drilled very carefully and additionally sanded for the safety of its users.

Upholstery

On the one hand, upholstery is one of the table elements that is the most sensitive and exposed to damages, while on the other hand, its structure must keep proper softness in order to provide a patient with as high as possible comfort during the treatment. Many years’ experiments, tests and opinions of clients of HABYS company allowed to work out a model composition of high-quality, certified materials and foams. As distinct from “cheap” tables, in HABYS tables we used laminar layout of high-quality foams that aims at preservation of parameters which ensure proper softness with keeping appropriate stiffness and deformation resistance. Elasticity factors of foams used for upholstery decide about longer life of HABYS tables than average ones on the market. Laminar layout of upholstery foam of total thickness up to 60 mm, watches over a patient’s comfort. In “cheap” tables descriptions, it is usually indicated that the foam thickness is 50 mm however, in reality it is a lot thinner. “Cheap” tables have very soft and unstable foam, which very quickly gets pressed and does not provide a patient with appropriate comfort.

In HABYS tables, the foam is sown round with oil-resistant leatherette. Sewing is carefully done with the use of special, thicker threads delivered by the best Polish producers.

Assembly elements

A unique construction of height regulation mechanisms prevents from the break of fixings and reduces to minimum vibrations and noise during work. In our products we use only top quality raw materials and semi-finished products, which come from verified large Polish companies – leaders on the domestic market. They are among other things, super-resistant joints with certified lines and special class joint screws. In HABYS tables we use top quality, durable and safe, coated with plastic steel lines which have pull regulation mechanism. Steel lines are finished with thick, highly resistant steel cap which makes it impossible to pull out the line even at great load. HABYS lines are characterized with better twisting and cracking durability than other lines. “Cheap” tables have only slightly pressed ends of lines, wrapped with plastic tape. There is a high risk that sharp edges of lines will pierce the tape and cause injury.

At both assembly of lines and other construction elements we use high quality, properly thick assembly washers. They increase the strength of joints, eliminate squeak by separation of wooden elements from each other and protect wooden elements from wear.

As distinct from other tested tables, special felting washers were used in the height regulation mechanism of HABYS table. Stuck on legs of the table they perfectly seal the whole mechanism and reduce the effect of squeak during a massage treatment.

In height regulation of HABYS tables a wooden knob was used instead of cheap and unaesthetic plastic used in „cheap” equivalents. The knob is equipped with silicone ring which guarantees safe hold and prevents a hand from sliding during regulation of the table. The knob has a special felting washer which protects the construction from presses.

Finish

In production of tables we also devote attention to small details, which influence both functionality and overall aesthetics of the product. Screws used for assembly are covered with aesthetic hole plugs in the colour of the frame. .

Assembly holes in HABYS tables are localized in places that do not weaken the construction and at the same time they provide easy access, unfettered with transport handles. All holes in HABYS tables are protected with dedicated plastic signs.

Each table has rubber feet useful during unfolding the table. Feet prevent upholstery from attrition and dirt. Table hinges are hidden and protected with upholstery material. Such solution prevents from slight injuries (e.g. squeeze of a finger during folding and unfolding of the table) and also influences the table aesthetic. Table hinges

HABYS tables are equipped with very comfortable and durable handles. As distinct from typical tables we use special foamy refill which prevents handles from deformations and makes them stable. Handles are fastened to the table construction in a way that precludes their pulling out and additionally they are finished with special aesthetic signs. In other tables handle is fastened only with the help of regular wood screw. MASSAGE TABLE ACCESSORIES

Just as in case of folded massage tables, accessories of our production are distinguished by precise, careful and aesthetic finish. We use materials that are characterized with the best quality parameters. Suitable elasticity of foams used for accessories production guarantees longevity of particular elements. As for “cheap” tables accessories, after a short time of usage numerous deformations cause that they lose their use value.

Deformations that appear in accessories of “cheaper” tables are also the effect of their “tight” distribution inside the table. Individual elements of HABYS accessories: headrest, armrests and front shelf were designed in order to make their transport easier. As for HABYS tables, accessories do not collide with each other nor with the construction itself – each of them has its fixed place inside the table. Armrests

All assembly holes perfectly fit the headrest and armrests what enables their quick installation. Their installation points were secured in the table construction with special silicone elements which prevent from uncontrolled slide. In “cheap” tables holes are not fitted which makes installation of elements difficult or spontaneous slide.

Thanks to the used materials and profiling, HABYS armrests are extremely comfortable and their movable assembly elements facilitate their transport inside the table.

Front arms shelf

Innovative, tested assembly system of a front shelf. HABYS front shelf is installed irrespective of headrest, so that body mass of a user is evenly spread on all elements of the equipment. The trump card of such solution (three supporting points) is also better stability and what follows greater comfort of usage. To facilitate comfort, the shelf has larger working surface. Headrest

Size, shape and materials used for headrest production make that it easily adjusts to the physiognomy of a user. To facilitate comfort of the user, the surface of our headrest is seamless.

Protective cover

Protective cover is made of high quality, thick and resistant material. Hard panel at the bottom of the cover and special feet which prevent the cover from dirt and increase resistance of the cover –base also deserve attention.

In the protective cover solid zipper was used which is lined with material to protect upholstery of the table from stains.

Transport straps, handles are made of wide, thicker very resistant tape. All places of sewing in the cover are specially strengthened which prevents the belts from being pulled out during transport or tearing. Careful, precise sewing in the cover are made of thick thread of the same colour as the cover.

As opposed to “cheap” equivalents, in HABYS protective covers we used solid, massive elements that join the cover with transport handles.

To increase comfort during transport of the table, thick, soft, filled with foam shoulder-strap was placed on the strap. Other tables have only thin material strap which will not prevent form getting the tape in your shoulder during transport.

LABELLING

HABYS folding massage tables with accessories are marked with CE symbol. CE symbol guarantees, that the product meets quality and safety norms included in European Union directives. They concern matters connected with users’ safety, health and environment protection during all stages of production and specify hazards that a producer should find and eliminate. CE symbol is necessary in order that a product could freely flow through between countries. Producers themselves must take care of the device so that it satisfy requirements of binding European Union directive.
